The organizers of the MI6 Conference announced that the MI6 Awards honored the video game industry’s best marketing achievements, which all happened to be from Xbox 360 titles: Assassin’s Creed, BioShock, Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3.
MI6 AWARDS HONOR VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY’S PREEMINENT MARKETERS DURING CLOSING CELEBRATION
BioShock, Assassin’s Creed, Halo3 and Call of Duty 4 Launch Campaigns among Evening’s Big Winners
San Francisco, CA – April 9, 2008 – Wrapping up another informative and insightful MI6 Conference, event organizers put on a lively MI6 Awards celebration to honor the video game industry’s best marketing achievements. Among the night’s big winners were the launch campaigns for 2K’s BioShock, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed, Microsoft’s Halo3 and Activision’s Call of Duty 4. With their industry peers getting the unique opportunity to bestow the awards, the marketers for each of these four campaigns were recognized in special individual presentations shown to attendees during the festivities.
The MI6 Awards—hosted by stand-up comedian Christian Finnegan—took the shape of an upbeat, streamlined show. Gold and Silver Muse statues were handed out to winners throughout the evening, with award categories varying from major media-based campaigns to imaginative honors, such as Most Effective Attention Getter and Don’t You Wish You’d Thought of This. Other winning companies include EA, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Hammer Creative, Midway Games and Vivendi Games, among others.
In addition—and new to the awards program this year—was the CGS Player’s Choice Award, an honor judged solely by world-class gamers from the Championship Gaming Series. Taking this prize was the World of Warcraft television ad, Mr. T ‘Night Elf Mohawk.’
The full 2008 MI6 Award winners list will be made available at http://www.mi6conference.com/awards.htm.
“Every year, the MI6 Conference attracts more and more support and participation from game marketing, advertising and entertainment companies large and small. Through our awards competition, the best work continues to shine through and we’re thrilled to be able to call out the industry’s true marketing superstars at this special event,” said MI6 General Manager Jill Lindeman.
The peer-judged MI6 Awards celebration capped off the two-day MI6 Conference, at which top executives participated from EA, Activision, ABC Entertainment, The Nielsen Company, Ubisoft, Championship Gaming Series, ESRB, OTX, Microsoft, LucasArts, Electronic Entertainment Design & Research, Double Fusion, McCann Erickson, Sony, Spike TV, GAMEPLAY HD, IGN, Codemasters, Sony Online Entertainment, Vivendi Games, DDB, Blizzard Entertainment, Nokia, Xbox, AKQA, DirecTV, Ziff Davis, 2K, Petrol Advertising, Ignited, The Ant Farm, Midway and THQ, among many others.

The game starts off as the player in the jail cell try to scape with a prison friend of “Daniel Lamb” you can pass this mission very easily due to it being just another training level. If you choose to follow the rules you have to hide in shadows and wait until each prisoner is distracted and move one by one you can skip this waste of time of the part of the training level by running you’ll see small cut scenes every time a prisoner sees you either pissing on you or screaming etc… (But their pretty funny). When you ass the prisoner you pick up a needle just do as the rest of the mission tells you and you’ll be fine. The rest of the game plays just like the first mission, but as you know the executions are fuzzied out with white color burns (unless you UMDGenedit it as a ISO). When you pass couple of missions you’ll learn how to use the “Sniper rifle Zoom” and how to use a gas tank to both burn papers and trick people and burn them in the spilled fuel. The story is pretty much solid, its great fun but they messed up the screen “Brightness” the game feels like it has color burned on the shadows compared to the PS2 Version which the shadows and dark color parts of the models are just perfect.

Hey all i just finished playing The Sims 2 for the psp, the game was pretty good. The Story line is pretty simple and will be the same story for all of your Sims models, the only things that will change is what you have in your house and your Sim and how much money and Food, Skills, Wants, Perks and Inventory Items you have along with Goals which is set of things your Sim wants to do to get rewards and to advance in game faster. The game will keep you really busy, because you will need to feed, shower, entertained, rest, and etc… your Sim character. The game is pretty fun for most parts epically when you buy very good Perks, that keep your Sim less hungry, more clean, and can stand bad smells “Grave yard, Bad food”. The money system in Sims 2 is called “Simoleons” and their very easy to get you can do missions and earn money, buy Money ++ Perks and sell house hold items to earn more and more money.
The game also features a system called “Skills” just like in real life you have to build your Body, Charisma, Logic, Creativity, Mechanical, and Cooking by eating, cooking, reading, working out and etc… Their is also a menu called “My Sim”which has the following options “Buy Perks” “Secret Score ##” “Friends Score ##” and “Assets Score $####” read below for information on My Sim options.
Main Menu:

“Select Button Menus”
-Urgencies: (Notes from the game menu)
-Goals:
Note: goals differ for each character at random and based on your answers
(1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (House) (Overall/Your Sim)

-Perks:

-Inventory:

-Skills:
-My Sim: Options:

All of the missions are very nicely done for a EA Game for the PSP the Graphics are not that bad, the controls will take you about 12-20 minutes to get used to
Over All:
=========================
Graphics: 7 / 10 - Very good for a EA Hand held game.
Story Line: 6.5 / 10 - Its pretty good but a little short.
Battery Life: 4.5 / 10 - uses the battery very much.
Save Game: 8.9 /10 - one file for all of your Sims.
Options: 8 / 10 - a lot of options, Perks, inventory items to pick from for a hand held game.
Final Score: 7.4 / 10

I have played the Demo of Ninja Gaiden Sigma and i really have to say this is not why i bought my Playstation 3 for (Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2) i have played Ninja Gaiden Black full game plus the other packs from xbox 1 live DLC and i have to say that this game is nothing but the just the older game with 2 or three added missions no graphics improvement in model wise (running at 1080p) just added support for the console to support High Resolution screen, Other than that i don’t see any improvements or any changes in the level design, gameplay, since i have already played Ninja Gaiden Black on the older xbox i am not going to waste $60+ on a old game for a new console, sure its Ninja Gaiden but it hasn’t changed NOT one Bit. Now since i have only played the Demo version that is all the information i can collect at this time and seeing all the trailers on Tv and Ign i have to say the missions are all the same from older packs and nothing more. Now if Team NINJA makes a whole new game fresh from a blank engine and blank map builder then that would be one hell of a next generation game for the playtstaion 3, but i feel like i have been ripped off even by playing the demo. Good luck to you if you are going to buy the full game, my only tip to anyone who wants to buy this for ps3 is if you have played this on Xbox 1 with all packs downloaded, don’t waste your money and time replaying a old game on the next gen. The only purpose i see for Team NINJA to make this game for a next gen console it would have to be for the nintendo wii since all of its games are just old ports with new controller functions

The game Juiced 2 is not that bad of a game their are only few flaws to the recently released demo over the xbox live market place. The game starts off with bunch off credits and legal notices that this is a demo and that the games in the game will not act just like the way they don in real life etc…. The main menu starts off with a Nissan GT-R Proto 2007 driving very fast in a Pink/Blue tunnel, the only options that are available in the “Main menu” are “Carrier Mode” and “Quit” the rest are all blocked. When the game starts you are asked to place a bet after you pick the bet and the rest of the “AI Racers” (with cars stolen from Fast and the Furious : Tokyo drift movie) place their bet the race starts off, after a long loading. When the race loads you car will be number “6″ out of 6 and the camara will be flipping towards your car, btw you car is parked side ways in the middle of the street. The flipping countdown stops and the race actually starts you will see a street which is very shiny which is funny that the ground can not be that shiny and wet in real life. The Demos physics is very stupidly done meaning they were trying to mix Ridge Racer and Need for Speed Carbon and Test Drive (Xbox, PS2 ) also Forza Motorsport 2 altogether, they seem to have gotten away with it too the drifting system is 100% garbage you do not need brake to turn you just hit the will and earn NOS (Need for Speed) and while you hit your fellow racers you will see each of them talk trash about their and your driving skills in a small “TV” on the top corner (NFS Carbon Boss & Test Drive races) when the race is finished and you have won the race you will be taking to the “Carrier Mode” menu and asked to pick a car in a “Club light” background with a poll dancer in the right when you go to buy a car you can pick 3 cars which you can buy all three under 200,000 the cars that you can buy in the demo are Camaro , Rx 7, Saleen S7 , which to my surprise the Saleen S7 is only $70,000 in real life it cost $555,000 now after you pick a car you can customize the car all you want from Headlights to Tail lights to Hoods and Spoilers while doing so you will see that the parks come off the care and get replaced (Forza Motorsport 2) after you are done you can paint the car and add decals. The one thing that i liked about the demo is that a “Street Racer” game like this has a very cheap Dashboard view for all the cars in the demo which none of the games (NFS Carbon, Forza 2, Test Driver, Ridge Racer) seem to have, but another thing that messes up this feature is the blurry they have added when you car just driving even at a low speed to the game to make the game look good and lower the FPS of the game. After you have bought a car or all 3 cars in the demo its time to race, pick wisely you can only do two races after you buy a car before you get kicked out of the demo to your Xbox 360 Dashboard.
Demo Over All:
-The Demo has it moments of features and HD Models but fails in Drifting races and handling physics.
-The Demo offers alot of modifications for a demo including body parts to decals
-The Game has ripped off Need For Speed Carbon of its three car Classes “Mussels, Tuner, Exotics”
-The Demo has a 3 race and your out strike (1st race is the demo start)
-The Game also has stolen great amount of Wide Body parts from Fast and the Furious : Tokyo drift movie

The game Ridge Racer has always been a Sony fanboy’s favorite arcade drifting game. The game it self is actually alot of fun it actually made me go out and buy ridge racer 6 for the xbox 360. But everyone who has played Ridge Racer 1 for the playstation portable should not buy this game, it is the same game just few added tracks, songs, cars, nothing more and nothing less the graphics have not improved the gameplay has not changed (Never has) and or increased in a good way. Now for people who have played older Ridge Racer titles like Racer Type 4 and Ridge Racer Revolution they will be happy to know that few tracks have been remade from the older titles for the PSP. For newcomers the game has alot to offer if you have never played the ridge racer 1 on the psp or any other ridge racer titles on any platform. The game features few new cars which are just remodeled versions of older cars in Ridge Racer universe.

Wrap Up: The game will introduce couple of new game play modes like Arcade, Duel and Survival modes in addition to the original Time Attack mode and rearranged World Tours mode. There is only eight (8) new cars (Remodeled Old Cars) add to the game from the Original Playstation Portable game. The game only has a Ad Hoc Multiplayer Mode that allows you to play vs 8 (Upto) players. Their is a total of 42 challenging courses for newcomers and pretty easy for old players of the long running drift arcade racer fans
Overall:
-If you owned the orginal PSP Ridge Racer 1 game don’t waste your money on this game
-If you never played Ridge Racer on the psp and want to do so go and get this game
-Their is only a Ad Hoc Multiplayer mode in Ridge Racer 2 for the PSP
Final Score: -Graphics: 7.3 /10 -Gameplay: 8.0 /10 -Audio: 6.5 /10 -Value: 7/10
