Well yeah you’ve heard it right the so called GUI built-In wannbe version of Xbox Live PSN, is just a ripoff, of Sony’s own upcoming video game

SingStar SingStore apparently looked and felt so good to Sony that they just took SingStore and change its content to PSN’s current content, Same Design, SAME Menus, all they did is get rid of the BD.. So the new Playstation Store is just a EBOOT! (.PBP)

Yeah thats right the ever so popular playstation store’s new look is just a ripoff, of sony’s own game… Kinda makes me feel sad as i was looking forward to this, now knowing that its just a game ripoff I’m betting the current Playstation Network URL is just going to get replaced by a .pbp link to “/game/psn/psn.pbp” or somthing similar.

*Note: There is no poof that PSN is going to be a eboot but all its look and feel and gui is taken from a game and my assumption is that it will be a eboot

Netblender has announced a new software for the iPhone and iPod Touch that that connects these Apple devices with Blu-ray Disc players that are BD Live compatible.

This SDK, called BD Touch, allows an iPhone or an iPod Touch to become a remote control for the PlayStation 3 or any other BD Live compatible player. That is one of the many potential applications of BD Touch, which can also take advantage of all of the iPhone’s interactive capabilities such as geo location, 3D sensors and QWERTY keyboard. Video, audio, text, and player commands can be transferred via the connection.

Some implementations of BD Touch will include:

• Pushing digital copies of movies to an iPhone from the Blu-ray disc menu.
• Automatically cataloguing a viewer’s Blu-ray disc collection and providing movie suggestions
• Updating and managing a viewer’s rental queue
• Displaying trivia and extra information about a movie in sync with the movie’s playback
• Turning existing Blu-ray discs into games that use the iPhone as the game controller
• Viewing fan-created content in sync with the disc

According to Sony, it will include an upgrade in the navigational structure, added functionality, and more new content than you can shake a stick at.

The PS3 content o’plenty starts off with the debut of the Metal Gear Online Premiere Beta. Other new additions will include Warhawk: Operation Broken Mirror, as well as the Lair: Diabolical Dragons Pack and Skyguard Upgrade pack. We’re assuming that’s where the analog controls will turn up.

In terms of lesser content available, there will be a plethora of game trailers, the most interesting being the one for GTA IV.

I personally cannot wait to see what more are in store for the Network and If any new information or content will be released on Gran Turismo 5 P

Well today i signed in at 10pm and the Update 2.20 came up well the details are as follows

•  Support for BD-Live
•  DivX Subtitles now work if you have a SubTrack with the file
• 2.0gb+ Divx and MP4 Files are now playable
• PS3 Music and Picture Playlist’s can now be uploaded to your PSP
• Improved Playstation Title Support

Downsides:

• First sign of a BRICK when you update to 2.20 your ps3 will turn off for about 1-2min after installation DON’T FREAK OUT just wait. This one is a HUGE update and takes long for the ps3 to write it to Flash0

Those who are beset by untimely game freezes in the PlayStation 3 version of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed can now breathe easy: a community manager in the Assassin’s Creed forums confirmed that they will release a patch that will fix the freezing problem that is currently plaguing some gamers while going through Altair’s adventures.

According to UbiRazz, the UK Community Manager in the Assassin’s Creed forums, they are now currently working on a game update that will “improve the stability of the game.” The update will be released online, but it is still uncertain if they will release a new batch of game discs incorporating the fix.

A little more than a week back, PlayStation 3 Firmware 2.0 went live (along with some features that were not included in the press releases). Earlier today, PlayStation Network Operations’ Director, Eric Lempel announced that the newest system software update will be coming soon.

The announcement was really just a quick heads up that the PlayStation 3 Firmware 2.01 will be coming in a few days. According to the blog post, 2.01 is “a minor update that will improve the stability of PLAYSTATION 3.”
